CONNOR'S STORY
At 21 years old, Singer / Songwriter Connor Russo is not new to music – has been performing on stage from the age of 4. Unlike most people his age, Connor did not grow up listening to the pop stars of the 2000’s, but instead, grew up mesmerized and enthralled by the electricity of 50’s Rock n’ Roll legends like Elvis Presley and Little Richard.
From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Connor is not hiding that he is from a large, urban city, nor the fact that he discovered country music at a later age. In a modern music scene filled with auto-tune and quick hits made for the masses, the authentic song writing and raw musicality of country music is what drew Connor in, and he hopes to replicate that in his own song writing and performances.
After a long career playing high level hockey in Ontario including Jr. A, Connor thrives in high pressure, big stage moments. Combining that with learning from his influences like Elvis and country music star Cody Johnson, Connor attempts to bring his athleticism, energy, stage presence, and charisma to his live performances, and values high engagement with all audiences no matter the venue.
